🎶 SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: Liz Watkins
Adult Contemporary / Jazz-Pop | Newark, DE
Liz Watkins is one of those artists who can play just about anything, and somehow make it all sound like her own.
Raised in Delaware and shaped by years of touring across four continents, Liz brings a genre-blending style that’s part jazz lounge, part country porch, part indie pop daydream. Her voice is warm, her guitar work is quietly masterful, and her songs? Honest, catchy, and full of soul.
She recently won the 2024 Taylor Made at Uptown Knauer contest and opened for the legendary Loudon Wainwright — no surprise to anyone who’s heard her. Her latest single, Wife of a Cowboy, dropped in January and feels like a dusty-road anthem for anyone with a wandering heart.
Whether you love Jobim or Billy Joel, Vince Gill or Brandon Flowers, there’s something in Liz’s music that’ll catch your ear — and keep it.
