Now, at least nine major firms—including Roblox and Simon Property Group—are putting "Dexit" votes on their agendas to reincorporate elsewhere. Some have already made the leap to Florida or Nevada, citing Delaware’s increasingly litigious climate for founder-led companies.

🚫 Red 40 gets the red light

Delaware is on the verge of banning Red 40—a petroleum-based dye found in snacks like Pop-Tarts, Doritos, and Gatorade—from school meals. The bill, now awaiting Gov. Matt Meyer’s signature, follows concerns over potential links to hyperactivity, cancer, and organ damage in children.

Other countries, including Canada and those in Europe, have already restricted Red 40. The U.S. is catching up, with the FDA planning to phase out petroleum-based dyes nationwide.

If signed, Delaware schools will need to rethink their menus—meaning fewer neon-colored treats and more natural alternatives.
